Medical Team Members


Heart Care International draws a team of highly qualified, 100% volunteer, medical professionals from 22 states, a dozen major medical centers as well as 6 different countries (USA, Canada, El Salvador, Domincan Republic and Guatemala).

Each mission trip requires teams of volunteers ranging from 10 - 50 medical specialists from over 10 different medical specialty areas.  These medical experts represent the following fields: pediatric cardiothoracic surgery, pediatric cardiology, pediatric intervention, pediatric cardiac anesthesia, pediatric intensive care, perfusion technology, respiratory therapy as well as pediatric operating room and critical care nursing.

These individuals volunteer on mission trips, taking time away from friends, family and work, to deliver the highest quality and compassionate medical and surgical care to children with life threatening diseases in developing countries.
